 Sharon
Astle lives in St. James City, Florida, on picturesque Pine Island. An award-winning artist, she is a member of the Charlotte County Art Guild’s Photo Arts Group and the Art League of Fort Myers, FL. She is regularly published in the Pine Island Eagle, Punta Gorda Herald, Port Charlotte Sun and Tropicalia. Her photos are in the permanent collections of Punta Gorda Spirit Fest, SBDC of Washburn University, Topeka Chamber of Commerce, St. Francis Hospital and Xerox Corporation. “Between the Lines” was the name of her recent one-woman show sponsored by the Charlotte County Arts and Humanities Council. Says Sharon, “I shoot E-Images and WYSIWYG (what you shoot is what you get), with Canon cameras. I’m retired from Xerox and spend time with my grandchildren in Florida, Colorado, Kansas and Oklahoma.” Sharon has shot some local scenes and has framed prints and a large selection of Sebring, Highlands County cards for any occasion. |
